Vama Veche is much more than just a resort it is a state of mind and since its beginning the “Folk You!” festival has striven to maintain the energy that keeps this spirit alive. The musicians who sang on the stage of the festival over time have delighted thousands of “vamaioţi” at beach parties until dawn.

Even though in recent years the festival has not focused only on folk music, it has evolved into a phenomenon that gathers thousands of good music lovers on the most southern resort of the coast. In recent years, Tudor Gheorghe, Mircea Vintilă & Brambura, Mircea Baniciu, Florin Chilian, Zdob si Zdub Maria Gheorghiu, Emeric Set, Ashanti & ZAN, Marius Mihalache and Irina Sirbu are just some of singers who walked on the stage at “Folk You!” festival.

How to get by car


The car is the most convenient and inexpensive alternative to get to Constanta. The distance between Bucharest - Constanta is 225 km and can be made in 2 hours and 30 minutes.
